This is a steep exit from the Vatican Museuems & the deceptive floor means the steps appear hidden so take your time. It does look amazing looking down & similarly looking back up when you finally get down toes straining at your shoe ends!
So gorgeous, however the crowds weren't too bad as I visited this part quite late in the day, and the crowds had thinned quite considerably. Passing through that many gift shops was a little off putting though

We visited in the evening opening hours on a friday, definately worth doing as there no waiting around in lines. It's worth the money you pay to get in. You can probably walk through the museum properly in 2 hours.
