Considering the Vatican being the head of Catholicism we imagined the treasury being filled with untold wealth, however due to sieges and plundering over the ages the treasury is quite modest, however still worth the extra cost to see the pieces.

You will definitely love this exit stairs from vatican museum, spiral way sometimes slippery so mind your steps. Good for photography.

Whilst St Peters is the iconic visit when at the Vatican, the museums as an extension of visiting the Sistine Chapel have become a "must-see" of their own.

The treasures in the Vatican are priceless and limitless. You need to plan your visit to really focus on the exhibits you want to enjoy. We had Friday night tickets and were able to visit after hours for a crowd free experience

Too much to see and do in one day. A plethora of history, religion and artifacts. You really do need more than 1 day to see even half of the museum, surrounding parks, basilica, chapels and piazzas. Lovely

A breathtaking one. Lots of information and artifact displayed. But the layout is not designed for large group. Thus, some place could be crammed. There is a nice park in the middle, to stop and taking a deep breath, have a nice lunch, before you...More
