This is the Vatican treasury and is therefore well worth the visit. The only negative thing I would say is that you have to pay €5 more to visit this area when you have already paid to visit the basilica. Personally I thought that this was a little cheeky but I was glad that I paid the extra as the... More

If just one artefact was sold then just think how much money could be given to support all the churches around the world. Sorry but the treasures in this place are amazing and I suppose there is a reason why they are here.

Another amazing place to visit in the Vatican City. I'm running out of words to describe this and other parts of the visit to the Vatican.

Seen better treasuries In fact the one in Prague might be the best . But of course it is the Vatican and it has done top notch papal gear. Shows how rich the church is . Honestly it becomes hard to see the wealth and power the church has ... and how poor the people are . That same ole... More

As part of Vatican tour, our tour guide showed us to this treasury, where it's very nice to view so many precious and beautiful masterpieces. Worth to visit if you're in Vatican.

The Vatican Treasury cost an extra 5 euros. I enjoyed seeing the reliquaries. There is pieces of the cross, St. Peter's finger, the skull of Apostle Luke and many more treasures for viewing. It is worth the extra 5 euros.

This again is part of your tour of the Vatican City the statues, made out of mostly beautiful Marble all hand carved are a wonder and delight to see. The whole experience is well worth a visit even if you are not of the Catholic Faith. Anyone can visit this wondrous place.

The picture they are showing is not of the Vatican Treasury. This statue is in the Vatican Museum. The Treasury is separate and requires a minimal admission. Lots of great things to see in the Treasury. We enjoyed touring it even though we had to wait to get in because there was a mass being celebrated.

The previous popes of the Vatican were powerful and came from families with influence. This wonderful treasure trove of art and sculptures were amassed through the centuries. Thanks to their status and wealth, we are able to view these precious objects today. Well worth the guided tour.
