After a long visit to the Borghesa Gardens it was so refreshing to just sit and people watch at Harry's Bar. The drinks are always spot on and the sandwiches are great. What a wonderful place, though pricey it is well worth the experience.

Due to conflicting schedules, I dined alone and felt completely comfortable and tended to by a very attentive staff. The salmon was amazing, veggies to accompany. Even the sweets with the cappuccino were amazing. Everything was lovely including the singer who made the evening even more special.

Been here quite a few times now, first time came mid afternoon and felt it was a little expensive although the GBP euro exchange rate doesnt help lol. But! On numerous visits since I get it! Its an experiance from the great evening entertainment, mountain of complimentary bar snacks, cloakroom service, the quality of the drinks and just the general... More

Our meals are important to us in Italy and we don't like wasting them on average places when there are so many incredible restaurants. Because of that we typically research in advance although it takes away some of the spontaneity we enjoy when traveling. On the afternoon we ate at Harry's we were exhausted and tired after walking for miles... More

It's Sunday evening and walking around our hotel we came by Harry's bar. We sat outside and the whole dinner was unbelievably perfect from starters to desserts. Staff and service beyond excellence. Try it if you care more about the food than your pocket.

Stopped here while site seeing when day to have a cocktail. We sat outside at a table and had martini's and Pimm Cups. Drinks were served with complimentary tea sandwiches and salted nuts. Service was friendly and laid back, prices a bit steep. They do offer a full menu for lunch and dinner.

We always stop here for a drink when in Rome , even though it was November it was warm enough at 10pm to sit at the outside tables , we plumped for the Long Island iced tea which I would say is one of the best I've ever had and my sister had an Irish coffee which she said was... More

We had a couple of drinks here, my two pina coladas came to €32! Most drinks were €16. We sat outside, under the awning and it was no different to umpteen other places we had been to in Rome. I cannot see the attraction of this place, maybe it was big in the 80s, it has that kind of feel.

Food was OK, had better elsewhere on oir trip. First waiter we had was a little rude but the others were fun & friendly Far too pricey for what we experienced but overall an enjoyable evening.

We started outside where we could watch the world go by, but a rain shower forced us inside. Harry's is a cozy spot for a drink or dinner. The weekend has live entertainment.

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighbourhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighbourhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighbourhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 20:00.
