We visited Gelateria Artigianele in Piazza di Sant'Eustachio and were helped by Najata who was pleasant as the gelato was good. We traveled in Italy for 4 weeks following this encounter and never found any other Gelato that was as good.

This is the street on which I lived for one year back in 1962. I have such fond memories of walking up and down this street – going to the Campo di Fiore, etc. This street was restored by Pope Sixtus IV at the same time that the Sixtus B Bridge (Ponte Sisto) was rebuilt to create a link between... My husband and I stayed in an Air BNB on this street and it was the best location. Great restaurants nearby, halfway between the Coliseum and the Vatican. Walking distance to many great sites.

Staying in Navona / Pantheon / Campo de’ Fiori

Neighbourhood Profile
Navona / Pantheon / Campo de’ Fiori
With three of Rome’s most beloved piazzas within a five-minute walk of each other, the Navona/Pantheon/Campo area may be the prettiest and most picturesque area of the city. Join the beautiful throngs hanging out in cafes, boutiques, art galleries, and wine bars, or peek at a neighbourhood museum or monument. If you want nonstop movida, the streets here are busy with chic bicyclists and Vespa drivers, street vendors, merchants, and locals. There is no rhyme or reason to its winding streets and there's something to see around every corner, so take pleasure in a spontaneous wander.
