The theatre is beautiful, if not the most comfortable (take a cushion to sit on). There's a disappointing lack of creativity and variety though. The same mediocre production of A Midsummer Night's Dream has come back (same actors, same costumes, same director) every year for a decade, at least. The same Romeo & Juliet returns most years, so does the same Much Ado About Nothing. There seems to be a little clique of two or three directors who lazily just go through the motions each season, rather than create new interpretations, or allow others to create. The London Globe also offers a much wider range of experiences, backstage tours, has a shop, a proper cafè etc, whereas this Globe seems less well-funded and organised. Even the posters advertising the season only tend to go up a few days before (or, some years, after) the first show opens, so they're often two or three shows into a season before you even know they've started! Needs new leadership.

Great production of Twelfth Night, but just a joy to see live theatre, with socially distant seating. Drinks and snacks available beforehand. Worth a visit for sure!
