I stopped off here for a light lunch of polpette dish, and a pancetta with bean dish that was recommended by the waitress. They also paired a glass of white with my food. The service was good, staff were friendly and they were not in...More

thank you Trevor for your evaluation.
I hope to meet you on your next visit to Rome and taste some news at the wine bar together
Have been to numerous wine shops around the world and the people have always been helpful in serving the customers.
From Spain to Japan, I've always had good experience when reaching out to local wine shops to learn more about their wines and also the...More

A wide range of wines and, best of all, a very helpful staff. They help you find the right wine for your needs. Take a look at some old devices used to cool wine that are displayed as decor. Amazing. Not to miss

Love wine...? Don't miss this place when you're next in Rome. It has an excellent selection of Italian and international wines - something that is quite unusual in Italian wine stores, which generally focus on wines from their own region. If you're shy about asking...More

many thanks for your visit and your words
My wife and I each enjoyed a wonderful glass of Italian red - a Barolo and an Amarone, and a delightful selection of Italian cheeses. The atmosphere is cozy, the service attentive and the food wonderful. We strongly recommend!
If you are a wine lover, this place is not to be missed when in Rome. As everyone else has said, the selection is extensive - particularly the Italian range, and there is a sense of continuing tradition with parts of the shop's original structure...More
Our Rough Guide book said this is one of Rome's best wine shops - it wasn't wrong!
There is a huge selection of wines all neatly sectioned into the various countries and regions. It stocks the whole range from reasonably priced to eye-wateringly expensive, with...More
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up
basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
