I originally came to buy textbooks for my school, but returned multiple times to peruse the shelves. The store has a wide selection of English books, everything from historial nonfiction to the classics. The environment is comfy and the staff never rushes you, but is very helpful if any need arises. Ask for the student discount at checkout if you... More

During most of our trip to Italy, we had in vain been searching for a book in the Percy Jackson series for our son, who had been wanting it since a few days into our trip. There was no hope of finding it in Sicily and I had hoped to get to another major bookstore in Rome but had not... More

Very good English-language bookstore near the Spanish Steps - particularly nice selection of art books. Also, an excellent place to go for English-language books about Rome.

Our family of readers found this bookstore and shopped twice while on our visit to Rome. We found the people to be extremely friendly and the selection huge! We highly recommend this gem of a bookstore in the Spanish Steps/Via Condotti section of Rome.

Staying in Colonna

Neighbourhood Profile
Colonna
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very centre of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping centre, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
