Nice aesthetic in decent neighborhood with a lot going on. Worth a beer an a few pictures. Small leather couch you can chill on if you're with someone. Food was only okay (reasonable bar food but not much better). Beer was inexpensive, staff were very cool. Reviews talk it up a lot - but maybe on weekends it's more lively.... More

Sitting here right now, enjoying the atmosphere. Pity there's no one else here....at the minute. It's shitloads better than bar del Fico around the corner. No posers. These dudes are cool, we like 'em. Plus my wife cried here the other night and they don't seem to mind.....😬 (lots to drink) lol bring on the cocktails you crazy Roman dudez.... More

Wonderful decoration and worst service to date! Sat down, after 5 minutes got menus After 15 minutes got up to go and order my 2 easy drinks. After 20 minutes ordered my drinks. After 35 minutes NO DRINKS yet, got up and left. Waiter said Barman too busy but place was empty. Unacceptable service. Terrible!

Enjoyed a drink here- unusual decor and an authentic local atmosphere- drinks good and we felt welcome in the bar even though we were probably the only non Italian people there!

You walk into a bar in Rome and Depeche Mode is playing. Sounds like a start to a fun night. Me and my wife stopped in sat down for what we thought would be one drink. But after meeting the bartender Fabio ( unfortunately I believe his last day was yesterday 1/18/2015) and Gianluca we stayed for the entire night.... More

It's called Mons Angels now and it's awesome! The staff was sweet and super helpful, great atmosphere, nice laid back music, and absolutely delicious free munchies with the wine and beer we got! Would have loved to go back, but we found it on our last night. Situated in the best part of Rome, in my opinion, love it!

We got lost and found this place near to piazza navona. It looked so different we came back in the evening for pre-dinner cocktails. We were a little worried that being so quirky the place would be filled with students but it wasn't. There was a good mix of people and the vibe was super relaxed. We ordered veg tempura... More

I have been to Jonathan's Angels several times over the years, bemoaning that it has gradually been stripped of its quirky character. Not any more! Jonathan's Angels is now Mons Angels and so much the better for it. The atmosphere is still divey and cool, but now with superb food to back it up. We visited three times on our... More
