With it bright cobalt blue ceilings, sumptuous interiors and grand altar, this is a wonderful church which must be one of the best of the many in the Eternal City.

This church is currently being repaired[but only on the outside] - from the outside it does not look like it is open. I went there for a concert and the inside is definitely worth a walk from wherever you are staying in Rome. There is...More

One of the most beautiful churches in Rome. From its deep blue ceiling to the Michael Angelo at the alter it is special.

We loved this church. Unlike the crowded Vatican, this church felt like a place of worship. The blue ceiling stands out and helps the viewer feel the vastness . The Michelangelo statue is worth a view. A great place for some quiet contemplation before venturing...More

This church is right next to Pantheon - so why not go in? The church has a quiet distinctive ceiling and full of art that you will appreciate.

Words cannot describe its interior beauty. Decorations, paintings, the altar...all out of this world....one of most favourite places in Rome.

Santa Maria Sopra Minerva looks stunning in the travel books. In reality it is too dark to see anything well. It was the most disappointing church that I visited in Rome.

Located by the Pantheon and often overlooked by tourists. Such a beautiful basilica! Have your camera ready as you will take several pictures here. Make sure to look up as the ceiling is stunning.

The church is located in front of a small piazza with the Bernini statue of the elephant carrying an obelisk. Can't believe how Roman decorate their churches to the max. Went in and were awed by the interior so artisty and grand. Worth to spend...More

Navona / Pantheon / Campo de’ Fiori
With three of Rome’s most beloved piazzas within a
five-minute walk of each other, the
Navona/Pantheon/Campo area may be the prettiest and
most picturesque area of the city. Join the beautiful
throngs hanging out in cafes, boutiques, art
galleries, and wine bars, or peek at a neighbourhood
museum or monument. If you want nonstop movida, the
streets here are busy with chic bicyclists and Vespa
