Really horrendous. Wished I would have read this first. Sketchy area, rude vendors. So bad. The best part? This roman gate pic, attached.

There are two parts of this market. The first is a double line of stalls along a road. The vendors are pushy but you can really haggle them down. A 10 euro item can normally be knocked down to anything between 5 to 7 euros. Lots of phone cases, accessories, watches, clocks, belts and wallets. The second part is a... More

Basically, I, like many, found this market via internet search...with promises of second-hand & vintage wares on offer. Nope. Crappy knock-off bags and clothes and pushy vendors. Do not waste your time. Please.

We visit markets every now and then but the market at Via Sannio is the worst we have ever seen. Same bags etc all over, no variety. My recommendation is to visit other markets, for example the market in Firenze where you actually can find a lot of nice shoes, silk ties etc.

Visit here if you want to be constantly approached and persuaded to buy anything from handbags and wallets to vintage and leather clothing.

At some point walking along "Via Sannio" turning on the right we found ourselves walking along this huge market, where we found big brands at very convenient prices! The only one headache of this adventure was the intrusiveness of the sellers: they really push too much for buyers to buy, stopping customers on their way, it's clearly not a matter... More

A number of the usual stores for leather, clothes and electrical items. It could be a bit imposing for some people running the gauntlet of traders.

Found it difficult to just browse through the many stalls without someone trying to sell you something you had no interest in. The Athens flea market was much more laid-back. Never accept the first price quoted for something you do want - say no thanks and start to walk away - the price will miraculously drop and then you can... More
