Following advice from friends we opted to book through the official web site. I purchased our entrance tickets a few weeks in advance. Just so you are aware these are not for a particular date but can be used at any time during the year...More

It was a hot summer. A long line, so many people were waiting there. But anyway it was worth it. When you enter there you understand it all, you can feel that magnificent ambience. Must see in Rome!

Our tour guide was fantastic. Very knowlegable and enthusiastic. The tour, which included all admissions, was very well priced, and includes a water bottle. We spent close to four hours with Danny, and if we had been up to Danny I think it would have lasted much...More

Do not use this tour company. There instructions for meetup are vague. When we could not find them they told Viator we were a no show. We arrived 30 mins early for our tour and never saw anyone with a sign. The four of us...More

This is a must. We bought our tickets and instead of standing in the very long line in the heat, we were right up in the front. Took us all but 5 minutes to get in. The Coliseum is a MUST see! A guided tour...More

We had purchased Roma passes which meant we got to join a shorter than average queue for this extremely busy attraction. The security measures are tight which meant that the wait in the queue is inevitable. However, the coliseum was well worth it, an amazing...More

Monti is Rome’s rebel yell. This neighbourhood just
west of Termini train station mixes grit with fun as
it continues to fight for its reputation as a magnet
for the artsy, alternative, and hipster. Every season,
quirky boutiques and food spots sprout up on its
cobblestone streets. The neighbourhood supports unique
and homegrown businesses that cater to its longtime
residents as well as hipsters on the hunt. Hang out at

Hi, How long did it take you to get through security with the pre-booked tickets?

The entrance for guided groups is separate, so you don't have to wait in line with all the people. The security check took around 3 minutes. Of course, without metal in the pockets and so on - almost like in the airport.

I heard tha with new security measures no one really skips line, everyone goes through metal detectors and that line is over 1 hour, is that true?

We did have to go through the security detector but the line moved quickly and we did not queue for very long. The skip the queue line has its own separate detector.
Hi. Has anyone done this tour with a child in a buggy? How easy was it to go round? Any advice appreciated
