Fascinating!

CityTours guide, Ms. Kennedy, made the site come alive. We learned so much about the monuments. The area was amazing!

A Walk Through History!
Sep 2021
The Roman Forum was one of the most unique experiences we have ever had. The area is teeming with history. I would recommend listening to the Rick Steves guide as he gives a lot of insight to what you are seeing. Definitely a must-visit when in Rome!

You can see everything without a guide
Sep 2021
This site is wonderful and you don't need to book a tour to enjoy it. Reading up about it ahead of time helps.

All-day attraction.
Sep 2021
Attraction for the whole day, may arouse mixed feelings because of the fact that some monuments are completely destroyed by the passage of time and only stones are left, but those that are preserved in the larger part, make an incredible impression.

Include in a Tour
Sep 2021
This is another sight not to miss while in Rome. We had a tour and they give you so many more details than when you try to see on your own.

Ancient history in a nutshell
Sep 2021
The Forum Romanum is a must visit when in Rome. There is not a lot of on-site information. So, book a guide, or be prepared (travel guide book or something else). Otherwise it's a bit hard to imaging how life has been there at ancient times.

Lots of history
Sep 2021
A large area full of ancient history. If you buy a general admission ticket you gain access to the Forum, the Colosseum, and the Palatine hill. Have to go through security, where they check your green pass and scan your bags. Hot if going in the summer, but water fountains are around. Lots of walking, and on slick rocks, so bring good walking shoes.

Beautiful, old, necessary! Loved it! We traveled here by Hop On Bus, and enjoyed the tour as well! Excellent site!

Great Place to Visit - Not in August!
Aug 2021
So much history... Lots to explore... Avoid it in August as it is the hottest month in Rome and the sun and humidity will ruin your visit. Purchase the Full Experience ticket to gain access to all the exhibits here. Sun screen and a hat are your friends here.
