Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Right next to the Colosseum, another expansive area of Roman history - from the markets and trading areas to the emperor's palace and the temples to the goddesses. So much to see and learn here!

It's included in the Colosseum ticket. No need for a guide as the visit is pretty easy. There are toilets and a cafe.

While walking through this site, it is amazing to imagine how life was like back during the ancient times despite almost all of them in a state of ruin.

Definitely glad that the Italians are able to preserve the Colosseum complex for everyone around the world what ancient Europe was like.

It really does show that humans are capable of doing some amazing things.

It sounds silly to praise such an impressive site that so many praised and dozens of millions visited before me. But it is so impressive to be, to walk in history while modern cars and living people are staying around.

I really enjoyed visiting the Roman forum. There was plenty of plaques with information about what happened there, I didn’t have a guided tour so that was appreciated.
