Centro Storico is an essential part of ant sight seeing visit to Rome. As the name suggests it is central, the nearest metro station is NOT Tiburtina which is nowhere even close to Centro Storico. Tiburtina is definitely not a place you want to visit,...More

Spent wonderful hours wandering, stopping to eat, drink & shop in the great eclectic mix of shops, especially the vintage ones. Everywhere you looks it's beautiful

My partner and I walked about this area coming back from the Colosseum heading towards Villa Bourgesse. We really enjoyed all the enchanting lanes and beautiful architecture. There were plenty of delicious looking eateries along the way, which were very reasonably priced at around €7-€10...More

Certainly worth visiting! Full of unique architecture, fountains, churches, narrow streets. There may not be direct access with the metro, but you don't really need it. Unless you walk through Rome how will you soak in all this beauty?

A non-stop photo and souvenir opportunity, Trevi is
all about action. From early morning through the wee
hours, the piazza surrounding Trevi Fountain hosts a
never-ending flow of tourists hoping to make a wish or
take a selfie. Clever restaurants, charming
gelaterias, uncanny bars, kitsch shops, and a range of
hotels make up the local landscape. Beneath the bustle
are the remains of an ancient neighbourhood that you

There are areas for high end shopping (I'm not a big traveling shopper however... I saw them while walking around) Nice boutiques around the Spanish Steps and Trevi fountain.
