I loved this place even though I hadn't read anything about it prior to our visit. I actually preferred it to the Collisium. I saw it at night first during a tour and it took my breath away...we then went back and explored it in...More

I can not say it is a must visit place in Rome but it right in center of city so you can spend some time, good historical ruins right beside it.

It is an incridible building. We travelled in the lift to the roof to get a panoramic view of Rome, breathtaking.

It is very impressive and if you climb all the stairs you have a beautiful view to the colosseum and the roman market.

The trip to the top is worth it. 360 views of Rome. Really beautiful. €7 for the lift to the top. Definitely worth it!

This monument is absolutely stunning! Free to enter and wander round. The man on the gate explaining the rules (no eating/drinking/smoking/ sitting on the steps) was very polite and friendly. Nice views at the top of the monument.

We got here at night time and WOW, this really stands out in this area. Selfies are mostly taken at Piazza Venezia located at the center. What a romantic spot.

playgrounds known as the Roman and Imperial Forums, or
the side-street shops, trattorie, and churches, this
