Nice place to go to, but packed with people. Go at night, but not in the winter it's freezing. It's not as special as everyone told me, but it was close to my hotel so it was nice to go to with my wife.

This is a magical place, full of love, art and romance. It worth seeing it at night when the lights transform the fountain in an exceptional work of art.

Special place, very popular and quite busy. Lovely fountain that is a must visit when in Rome. Easy to walk to and some great little cafes close by.

After a period of cleaning this magnificent fountain is again as beautiful as ever. You may even be able to get close, but dont go in the middle of the day for even in low season it is crowded

Wonderful fountain, to be sure, but far too packed!!! And the ushering and whistling is a nuisance, too.

Especially since they finished restoration. It’s back to former glory and in summer sunlight you almost need sunglasses to look at it since it’s now bright white! ;) My favorite time to visit though is at night...then it looks like a magical place and less...More

A non-stop photo and souvenir opportunity, Trevi is
all about action. From early morning through the wee
hours, the piazza surrounding Trevi Fountain hosts a
never-ending flow of tourists hoping to make a wish or
take a selfie. Clever restaurants, charming
gelaterias, uncanny bars, kitsch shops, and a range of
hotels make up the local landscape. Beneath the bustle
are the remains of an ancient neighbourhood that you

We have been there a number of times, during the day and night, and have never had a problem. Make sure, however, that all your valuables are out of sight and safe, and this goes for any city you are in, not only Rome. It... More
