This blue bus tour uses old buses and they do not come as frequently as other hop on and hop off buses in Rome. I personally did not have any issues but I witnessed one couple who were prevented from hopping back onto the bus as they only had the yellow page of their receipt. I only was given the... More

I had the 48 pass and put up with them, it was awful. Buses are in horrible condition and take forever. Really! they take so long that I would consistently see 4 or 5 of the red City Sightseeing buses while waiting for City Roma bus. I bought my tix from some office and had originally asked for the red... More

Where to begin? Waiting more than 45 minutes outside Termini Station for just one Ciao Roma bus to drive by (while the competitors bus stopped at least six times?)? Or finally having a bus show up and you worry you'll get a strange disease from the seats? Then you plug in your earphones and one ear is playing English and... More

We bought their ticket at 9 in the morning, for a 1day ticket we were told that they'll drop us back in the Colosseo. We finished the tour atvthe Vatican around 4:30. whenever we tried to hop on the bus, we were told that they will terminate in termini station only! We tried to reason with them but even the... The quality of service for this bus company is poor. The maintenance of the listening devices is clearly not an obligation. My friend along with the passengers behind us did not have working stations and started jokingly giving our own explanations of the attraction. When we did finally get a station that worked, the commentary was not in depth. I... More

Good way to see Rome but the combination of a protest march and a rainy december meant we didn't get the full benefit The audio commentary can be hit and miss But a good way to get to see most of the sites

We took this tour bus at the suggestion of the hotel concierge because it was the "closest." Do not take this bus. The buses are old; the headphones don't work. The drivers and the staff are not helpful. There are not as many locations as the other buses and they shut down earlier.

Ciao Roma Open Tours is a Sham!! Dodgy audio, headphones don't work, worn out dirty buses, staff are rude and a long time between buses. This mob are a total shamozzle, it spoilt our day. Don't let it spoil yours. Don't take the Ciao Roma Blue Bus!!!! You will regret it!!!
