A wine experience like no other! Wine is an important part of Italian culture. At VinoRoma wine tastings/seminars we give you the key to understanding Italian wines and your taste so you can continue exploring on your own, too. Not intimidating, stuffy or confusing - a lot of fun and very insightful! Nice side effect: you will learn a lot about food, too!Drink wine. Not too much. Mostly Italian.

I was talking to a work colleague (avid wine drinker such as myself), and we've decided to make a reservation to Vino Roma. I figured it would take my boyfriend along as well. He didn't have much going on anyway. We arrived at a big red door reading Vino Roma--not as hard to find as the website suggests. Sitting inside... More

The highlight of the dinner for me were there rare cheeses that Hande sourced from local farms. Don't get me wrong, wines were great too, especially given that Hande selected some unusual ones to make a point about there differentiating qualities. Other appetizers were great too. Good company in an intimate setting.

We absolutely LOVED our time at Vino Roma. Sommelier Maurizio Di Franco led us in a guided tasting of wines from many regions of Italy, and we couldn't believe how much we learned. Of course the wine was delicious, but the way Maurizio explained how to taste the wine and what factors influence those flavors really helped us understand and... More

How do you make 8 strangers friends in 2 hours? Go to Vino Roma and have a wine and cheese dinner. Hande was a gracious host and very knowledgeable about wines and cheese. By the 3rd course, we were all chatting and laughing and she had a hard time getting a word in! The wine and the cheese were outstanding.... More

Really fun and informative evening! Maurizio was a wonderful host and patiently answered all our questions, demonstrating his obviously vast knowledge as a sommelier and his passion for the field. We felt like we learned a lot about the basics of Italian wine, particularly about food pairings.

When planning our Italian holiday we booked all the usual tours - this was a last minute random decision not fitting the mould. Italy is not just about history, wars and religion. A huge part is the food and wine- so we highly recommend booking a wine tasting at Vino Roma. Lots of fun and highly educational (in a fun... More

My sister purchased the wine tasting evening for my partner's 40th present. It was fantastic. Maurizio was our testing guru, he was informative, friendly and very welcoming. With a small group of six, it was fun and a thoroughly enjoyable evening, no wine snobbery here, just appreciation, good company and informative. Don't think twice, just book it!

My family and I decided to book this experience for our first night out in Rome. It was brilliant. Thanks to the lovely group we had from all over. The host Hande was so knowledgeable, showing us which wines went with different meats and cheeses , that we all learned a lot and had a good laugh as well. I... More

This was such a fantastic experience! Hande selected FABULOUS and interesting wines for us to try and did an amazing job of pairing them with some seriously delicious snacks. In addition to doing a fantastic job of teaching us about wine, she graciously provided Rome suggestions after our tasting. I HIGHLY recommend this experience!
