Interesting cave and great guide David
Sep 2020
Great and very professional guide David Mattel gave us an extraodrinary impression of the cave and its history. It is worth to stop by and enjoy the visit.

What a wonderful visit!
Sep 2019 • Family
We were looking for something to do when the weather forecast was poor. This was recommended for all ages including children. We had a 6 year old and a 5 month old baby in a carrier.

This is an amazing place to visit. It was well sign posted and we bought tickets when we arrived. The tour was to commence in 1 hour. This left us plenty of time for a coffee, cornetti and to feed the baby.

The tour was conducted in Italian, sadly our Italian is limited but this did not spoil the visit at all. There was plenty of time to see the spectacular caves and take photos. Our 6 year old was entranced by the place and seeing the bats.

The tour took around 1 hour and was 9 € per adult and 1 cent for our 6 year old. I highly recommend this place. Plenty of space to take a picnic. Very clean toilets and a very friendly snack bar nearby. We will return again with other visitors.

"worth it"
Aug 2018 • Friends
Despite the struggle to reach it, I really enjoyed it. Amazing caves with a very well kept walkway through them. The wait for the guide, compulsary to visit this place, is reasonable.

Beautiful accessible caves
Jul 2018
WARNING: as per July 2018, the location on TripAdvisor is incorrect.

Beautiful caves, easily accessible even for older people, kids etc. The tour is around 1 hour and reasonably priced (9 euro).

Only negative point is that the tours don’t have fixed times, so you just have to come and hope that the previous tour had not just left.

Beautiful caves

Loved the caves, you can see stalactites from more than 50 million years. Good place to visit on your way from Rome to Naples, or around Rome.
Price totally worth it.
The tour guide was really friendly and full of knowledge.
Totally recommend it!!!!

Into the deep, beautiful caves
Mar 2018 • Family
An amazing trip in a rather pristine and well maintained cave system. Maybe too much artificial light. Worth to visit especially during the wet season. The guide was great giving a lot of information.

A pleasant visit
May 2017 • Family
The one hour long tour takes you through a nice cave, which is well lit and paved for easy walking. Highlight of the tour was our guide Davide. He showed tremendous enthusiasm and knowledge of the cave, animals in it and the local area. We didn't speak Italian so he even spoke to us in English separately.
The only complaint is how the cave is lit all the time and because of that non-cave vegetation has started growing on the cave walls where the light shines. Many other caves have a system where lights are turned on just for the tourists to pass by and then turned off again.

Great caves
May 2017 • Family
There are a lot of beautiful formations, lots of bats just flying around the cave and even a waterfall if you are lucky. Our guide, Davide, was great, he also spoke in english and made the tour a lot more interesting and fun.
