We left Sorrento at 930am and returned on the 525pm ferry (22.50e each) During that time we sailed directly to Ischia, then immediately walked around the port to the right and bought our tickets to Procida at the ticket office (18.60e each, I believe.) The next ferry was at 1130am. We arrived in Procida, walked around the port area, and... More

We decided to visit the island of Procida because it is the least touristic island in the area. So, visiting the picturesque port of Corricella was a delightful experience simply because it is so real and calm. My advise is to first go to the top of the hill, enjoy the view, take awesome pictures and then go down to... More

We chanced on this little Port having accommodation facing the main port on the other side of the hill. But in our brief stay on Procida we came back here again and again just to sit in the cafes down by the boats and have a late afternoon spritz or a leisurely dinner. The quay is so small that only... This place is still intact. Tourism is a new thing in Procida and you can notice this having a stroll at Corricella. There is nothing built for tourists. the few bars and restaurants are simple, with tables on the quay, old style. The atmosphere is unique. Out of season is almost deserted.

After looking at some of the photos on internet, we just had to add this island to our itinerary. Once we got off the ferry (from Naples), we took a short walk over to this more quiet side of the island. The view is breathtaking just like we imagined. It’s so colorful and beautiful, unlike any other Italian sea villages... More

Great for photos, to watch the local fisheremen and great seafood restaurants.Perhaps the most beatutiful place on Procida? Not possible to access by car, so some stairs to walk up/down.

Gorgeous little harbour. Buildings painted in all colours, fishing boats. A few lovely restaurants without it getting too crowded. A beach within walking distance. And best of all: no cars, no scooters, heaven;-)

On a sunny day this is a great spot to while away a few hours watching the boats come and go. There is a selection of good restaurants to choose from. We were staying on an adjacent island [Ischia] but liked it so much we came back twice for lunch.
