Not worth the money, the only thing you get is a beautiful view which is nice but it doesn't meet the expectations of a visit on a Castel.. There is a gallery as well but the English descriptions are all together so you don't know...More

As when you get here you'll still have a lot of slopes to walk up I suggest you use the funicular to ease the climb. (there is a hidden lift though). Any climbing is well worth the effort as the views from the battlements are...More

It is not that difficult to reach, despite being located on a hill. The funicular gets you almost to the top. The view from the high walls is breathtaking. Also, the insides of the castle are impressive. I would recommend this short trip - it...More

Come in the afternoon for the best light on the city, Vesuvius, and the Bay and its islands. Better views than from the Certosa di San Martino.

It is great fun to take the funicular up to this castle and take in the views - well sign posted and very welcome elevators to the top. Interesting modern art gallery too.

The view of Naples is fantastic, but there is nothing more to see in the castle Also, the Furnicolare Cemtrtale is NOT working, and will not be for three weeks, so you will need to use one of the other two

I'm not sure because it's a no working day in Italy, but I guess so. Opening hours from 8.30am to 7.30 pm but the ticket shop closes at 6.30.
