Quiet with good views
Nov 2019 • Friends
My friends who love in Posillipo residential area drove me for a walk in this nice city park, high on a hill. The views of the sea and the surrounding areas are good on a clear day. I was delighted to be able to see flowers still, at this late season on the year. In particular, I loved the flowering tree from Africa.
Be prepared for a rather long walk. At certain parts, we had no access due to repair and maintenance works.

Walk till you run out of beauty
May 2019
You get it all here, myths, legends, traces of the past and oodles of natural beauty. The park’s fame, according to legend,is that it is the burial site of the poet Virgil. All things Virgil can be directed to the efforts by the Romans

Amazing views - a great e-bike ride destination
Aug 2019
We hired e-bikes from A D Car Rental just off Via Santa Lucia near Castel Del Ovo (easy and very reasonably priced) and cycled along the sea front and up the hill (effortlessly!). Great views all the way, but absolutely stunning from Parkours Virgiliano down to the coast. A couple of drink/ice cream stalls, reasonably priced just like a the sea front. A great afternoon trip.

Good views

Park is okay for a stroll around. Probably appeals to younger children. Very good views. I wouldn’t say this is a must-do ... you will see great views all along the coastline.

You can park just outside the main gate and walk in a loop. They are two small cafes selling snacks.

Gorgious view
Jul 2019 • Solo
If I started my jogging I wasn't sure if I'm able to reach to the park by foot, because some pedestrian roads just turn into only vehicles roads in Naples and you need to turn back, but the road up was perfect. I almost had an accident with cyclists who came down with high speed around the corner, but could jump off from their way.
The views from parc were worth to go up.
I wanted to choose the same way back and kept left, because I wanted to go left, but finally I found myself on the street that continued 3 km straight and then left. So I learned that if you need to go left in Naples you probably need to keep right.

Large park with children’s play area
Jul 2019 • Family
If you are not travelling by car it’s good to realise the boulevard leading to the park has had most of its trees cut down so it is very hot. The park does have a cafe though. The children’s park is nice and the park green with great views from the sides. Worth a visit if you are going to Posilipo

Big green area. Almost from each point we have great view at laguna or stunning forest. Whole infrastructure is really old, but this add some value for this park

Spectacular Views
Apr 2018 • Couples
This park is located in the upper class neighbourhood of Posillipo, a number of people in the park or enjoying the views mid-morning. The park needs some tender care, prune the scrappy shrubs and trees, trim the grass areas and rid the area of the rubbish that was evident in places. Perched on the upper deck of the bus we soon concentrated on the spectacular views, particularly the coast and offshore. The audio mentioned Capri and other islands, the bay of Pozzuoli and gave a good narration of other sights. If you wish to visit, its Stop 7 on the Blue Route.

Fabulous sunset view of bay
Jun 2017 • Couples
An hour before dinner in rosiello we walked here - beautiful. As nice as any sunset bay view in San Diego or San francisco. A 30 minute cab ride from Centro historico (more when traffic is bad) so do combine with something like dinner.
