Enjoyed sitting in the huge, clean square outside

My children thought this reminded them of Vatican. Such a lovely place and huge space outside in the square. Absolutely no crowd and clean compared to the rest of the city

Nice take a walk around really carafull with everybody that is driving like crazy allthough the place is full of people they don't care. Daytime only in the night it does not give a totally safe mood.

What a tragedy that Naples is so run down and covered with graffiti. The city looks so sad. Are all the reasons so well publicized the cause? Naples feels dirty and neglected. There are some fine museums but the overall feeling is of endemic civic failure. Perhaps its reputation is deserved.

Built in the circus (round) style, this building is huge and beautiful. A must see in Naples. In the square in center of town, easy to find.

We had a blast wandering the narrow streets of the Centro Storico. People were dancing and singing, playing music and just having a great time. Loved the lively-ness!

One of the best experiences of Naples was the Centro Storico/Historical Center. There are pizzerias and trattorias with traditional food (antica) at every corner, food stalls and small shops with traditional Italian products including pastas.

Old Naples seems to weave itself into your heart as you very slowly make your way or attempt to - you see, there is always a shop, a church, a doorway, a stall, a smile that must be seen or shared or explored.

Hubby and I spent about six hours exploring the historical center of Naples. True there are dozens of historically relevant monuments and structures which are obviously important and, in some cases, quite beautiful. But the ambiance is trashy. Locals will run you over with their scooters while tearing through pedestrian areas, or honk the horn repeatedly till you move. People... More

The historic center of the city is a series of constant surprises. Just when you think that you finally get used to all those smells, noises, chaos and hectic atmosphere around you, you will stumble upon something new and completely different than anything else you can see in any other Italian city. You can love it or hate it, there... More
