We specifically walked through here twice. It's not a large square......it IS buzzing with students and locals.......and it's easy to have a coffee, snack or lunch......but we stopped and sat on a bench twice and watched the world go by. Locals walking their dog-o's also. Nice...More

Grungy sort of area buzzing with locals spilled out on to the piazza enjoying the local bars. If you want to drink amongst the locals and don't mind cigarette smoke, maybe try here.

Stopped for late coffee when it was already well into lunchtime, but they were happy to seat and serve us. Such a pleasant welcome, service (& shade) we opted to order lunchtime drinks and food as well: Treated well so we stayed 😎

It looks like a tourist trap and to an extent it is, but food was tasty and reasonable. I had Sciliana Pizza and it was gorgeous. Now sold on pizza without cheese.

Some areas of Naples are truly crowded; narrow streets, packed traffic of scooters, cars and pedestrian. We stayed in the Via Tribunali area and went to Piazza Bellini a couple of times, just to get some sort of relief looking a the nice buildings surrounding...More

Attractive square with some good bars and cafes, theme of books and culture. Now a pedestrianised area.

I visited the piazza during the day and found it a reasonable quite and pleasant place, for Naples standards. When I came back in the evening it had changed into a meeting place for all the students of Naples, along with their carry outs. The...More
