We wanted to see beside the Marina Grande on the northern coast of Capri Island, this picturesque small harbour as well. It is located on the southern coast of island and can be reached easily on foot , via the panoramic Via Crupp. This charming pathway starts just beneath the Gardens of Augustus. Also is disposable the bus from the... More

Even if you don't visit very much on Capri, the visit is worth it just for the wonderful boat trip. Spectacular scenery, caves, sheer mountain faces, and Sophia Loren's retreat, what more could you want. The small buses and open top taxis on these narrow winding roads are a must do as well. The small town is lovely and the... More

There is one "Marina Piccola" on Sorrento. Ferry boats leave from that location to go to Capri. Ferries headed for Capri pull into "Marina Grande" only (no ferries to the Marina Piccola on Capri. On Capri, "Marina Piccola" is on the opposite side of the island from "Marina Grande" and it is here that the recreational boats going to the... More

Enjoyed two visits to Marina Piccola and enjoyed watching the boats and had a delicious vegetable salad at one of the beac clubs. Lounged on their patio and enjoyed the view and good, reasonable food (we skipped the pricey sit down restaurant). Too windy and chilly for a swim but it sure was tempting! Easy bus ride from Anacapri or... More

Skip the pricey beach clubs and head down to the free beach at Marina Piccola. You can either walk the winding scenic route from Capri down to the beach or catch a bus (1.80 euros). Find a spot on the beach and spend your day swimming in the warm water. There are various snack bars and shops where you can... More

No beach but water was sparkling clear, refreshing and you can swim out to large rocks. Very nice restaurant right on/above the water. Atmosphere nothing like what we have in the US.

Marina Picola is really small, and gets a shadow from the mountains surrounding it early afternoon, so if you want to go to the beach, you have to go early in the day. Despite its small size, with room for a few people, it has a great view to the Faraglioni, the signature rocks in the coast of Caprio. This... More

We rented an apartment in Capri. Almost every morning we went to the Marina Piccola beach (± 20min's by foot). The Via Mulo is an adorable street with lots of flowers and shady trees, so we enjoyed walking down to the beach. The beach itself is small, so if possible come no later than 10 AM to get a nice...
