Small, busy, lively, full of large groups and rather overcrowded even in October. This is a place to see once only for the experIce. No need to stop for any length of time.

The first place you pass through on the arrival of the funicular. Sea view, a tower, a colored clock but not really interested and overcrowded.

It's very close to the top end of the funicular and has a number of cafe bars to relax in after the scramble for the ride up.

Meeting place for all tour groups, surrounded by restauants, cafes and shops. There is an overlook that one can have a panoramic bay view.

A lot of people are here and it might feel a bit scary, in such a small place. Be aware to look after you belongings and enjoy.

After dinner each nite we sat out on the square, trying out each of the bar/cafes. Great place to relax with a digestivo!

Perfect place for pre-dinner cocktails or mid day break from shopping! Great vibe and people watching as everyone passes through here. No real dinner places here though but great for before and after!

There is a good view to the sea and the cliffs. However, the place is crowded and noisy, you can barely take a picture or have a rest.

It’s the center of capri so it’s crowded but is a must to see in this island. Also there are a lot of shops, bars and restaurants.

Everything was open the day we were there. It was mostly just tourists in the day, but we were told the whole place comes alive at night. There are some really lovely shops. We only window shopped as it was all too expensive... More

Same as previous answer, its a busy tourist spot, so can't see the shops and tours being closed. Its their main income.
