Visited a lot of grottos around the world, my advice is to go when there are not so many people, like end of september/october, weather still good, water still warm...and you can enjoy better the nature...no screaming around in several languages...if you know what I mean.! Have fun.

Took the ferry from the Capri waterfront, paid about 15 Euro @. They have ferry every 30 min or have 10 customers. Ride was 10 min, then we hired small boat into the Grotto. About 20 Euro between two of us. Ha have another 2 customers in the small boat with us. It was beautiful, water was so green. He... More

This is a must see attraction while visiting the Island of Capri. Is a very nice half day trip, where you would stop briefly to get to lo we this grotta and could even swim for a while.

We were excited that the weather had cleared, which gave us an opportunity to take a private boat tour around the island of Capri. We visited a number of smaller grotto's but the Green Grotto was our favorite. We were the only ones there so our captain told me to jump in and swim thru the grotto, so I did.... More

I paid 13 Euro (maybe 12?) for about 5 minutes, but it was definitely enjoyable and beautiful! You have to lie down in the boat to clear the opening, but sit up once inside. When your eyes adjust you see this luminous turquoise blue water that is stunning! And our guy managing the boat sang while inside the cave. :)... More

Our private boat took us to the green grotto, and told us to jump out and swim through it. We loved it! Refreshing swim in the heat of the day, relaxing and magical. Very serene! We did it twice.

The green grotto and the smaller lesser known grottos on the other side of Cpari are attractive and less rushed than the major Blue Grotto. Best reached by boat pick your day.

When in Capri hire a boat and do the trip around the island. See the Blue Grotto and swim the Green Grotto. Stunning.
