So we decided to go to this isolated part of Sorrento peninsula, located in the Punta del Capo. For this purpose we had some luck to stop one car, passing by and by mean of hitchhiking to get to our goal. And we didn't regret at all. We've had there from the cliffs and a top of this headland some... More

A very magical place known as Bagni della Regina Giovanna which is a like a bath sea water place with an arch you can swim through to the open sea! There is no sand but rocks you can lie on to sunbathe, but if you are in Sorrento or taking a day trip, you have to go to this place!... More

Just sit and relax and take in the beautiful views of the water while having a drink. So many things to do while visiting.

Nice viewpoint but as we were staying close to centre of Sorrento it was a very long walk to get there , not easy to find and would not recommend unless you are staying on the Napoli side of town

Worth accessing as the views to here and from here are some of the most interesting in the Town. Start from the highest point on the Via Del Capo then wind your way down enjoying the changes in the scenery at different points. A green oasis in places as this area has not been built up as heavily as the... More

We walked from the Hotel Belair about 20 minutes. The second right turn after Via Capo is not very obvious. There is a small store on the corner where you are supposed to turn. It's a nice walk but surely not for everyone. After the store keep following the signs. The road gets narrow and then turns into a foot... More

Punta del Capo is situated immediately west from Sorrento. It takes around one hour to hike from Sorrento. Punta seems to be popular picnic area among the local inhabitants. You can swim in the lagoon near the peak of the Punta.

They have certainly done a great job of expanding the swimming area below the Belvedere...delightful for swimming in the daytime, watching the glorious sunset or just enjoying a summer evening...sitting in the seats above it all!

The Punta del Capo is just down the peninsula from Sorrento proper and this location gives great views back towards town, panoramic coastline, the Mediterranean and Mount Vesuvius in the distance. You could walk down a ways to the rocky beach below. ....
