We did the pizza cooking course with William and Maria. We had a tour of their great farm, understood some of the family history and ancestry. We then learned to make the dough and made various tastes of pizza and calzone’s. Our children, 10 & 12 loved it. Once home, we have made the beautiful Napolitano pizza and reminisced on the wonderful time we had. If we come back to Sorrento, we will be sure to come back for a different class! Grazie mille and much love to the both of you.

An amazing experience!! We had so much fun. The class is on a farm, with a great view. The chef show us all his fresh vegetables, herbs, fruit. They also make the wine by himself! It was so fun! The class is very helpful, we learned a lot. He has a lot of knowledge. We have got all the recipes and tips for Italian cooking. Highly recommended!!!!!!!!!!

We found Old Taverna Sorrento on TripAdvisor, but Chef William informed us due to COVID restrictions he wasn’t able to give his normal cooking classes to a group of 10 or 12. He offered us a private class at his farm which we were so grateful to have seen. Chef William is fantastic! His farm has been in his family for generations, and he used most of the products in our meal from his farm. We enjoyed cooking with Chef William and his wife Maria, and he gave us great tips to use when we got back home. We made bruschetta, fresh pasta- ravioli with a caprese sauce and Tagliatelle with a lemon cream sauce, and Chicken Scaloppini with lemon sauce. He also showed us how to make a lemon custard and a lemon sorbet for dessert that he served with limoncello and of course homemade wine with the meal. We had a fancy five-star dinner with beautiful scenery! We couldn’t have asked for a better evening. We hope to come back to Sorrento, and we will definitely contact Chef William again! What a great experience in Sorrento.

Chef William and Maria were so friendly. Going to their school surrounded by their beautiful farm was the highlight of our trip to Italy. It gave us a real sense of what it meant to be Italian.. Covid 19 has been very tough on them and I was very happy to support them.. We really impressed our cooking skills, cooking ingredients from their farm and drinking wine pressed from their vineyard !! Must do while in Sorrento

We attended William's cooking school at his farm. After being shown around the farm, we made bruschetta, gnocchi, chicken in a tomato sauce. We were also served lemon sorbet (couldn't make tiramisu as it was too hot). Hosts were incredibly friendly and professional. Teaching was to a very high standard. We learnt lots, was a good mix of cooking and eating a delicious 4 course meal in a perfect setting. The terrace area is beautiful. Home made wine and limoncello were spectacular also. The experience exceeded our expectations.
