I stopped here a few weeks ago during my two week stay in Italy in which I visited all of the tombs of the apostles in Italy. You cannot miss this cathedral, it is right in the heart of the town of Amalfi. There are a lot of steps leading up to it and the architecture and artwork is beautiful.... More

Really good tour and surprises right through the tour. We were also really lucky to be there just before a wedding and the main duomo building looked amazing.

Highlight of Amalfi City. ornate and awe inspiring. ITs worth the climb up the steps, but hey you're one the Amalfi coast right?

This is a very beautiful church located right in the middle of Amalfi. It cost us 3euro to see the museum, the crypt and the chapel. I have read and seen a lot about Saint Andrew and the story regarding his relics being bought from Istanbul so it was if interest for me to see it. Worth the visit.

Inside it is almost empty, destroyed by the ages...the stairs are extremely nice and offering a beautiful landscape on the small and characteristic square. Do't forget to eat a pasticciotto or a sfogliatella at Pansa!!!

We visited the town and decided to make the climb up to the church. It did not disappoint nor did the beautiful town of Amalfi. Great place to visit as they were getting ready for Christmas.

First off, Amalfi is just gorgeous. The sight is breathtaking and this church is just as impressive. Great architecture.

Immerse yourself in exquisite Catholic antiquities of a quality and scope that are both rare and beautiful. It is perfect for an unhurried, self-guided tour using the excellent brochure. Allow yourself a good hour for this treasure of frescoes, relics, architecture and spirit.

Intimidating steps but well worth the trek up. So many artifacts and sacred relics ... what a beautiful place. Glad we happened to check it out as the exterior doesn't say much for what it has to offer inside. Huge cathedral filled with treasures makes you feel closer to God, very spiritual. Not to be missed though the stairs may... More
