This building in reverse i.e. with the rooms carved out of the limestone cliffs, has a wonderful array of frescoes in various states of (dis)repair. They ranged from a Byzantine style to a more Renaissance humanistic style. Well worth a look.

Beautiful old church that has old frescoes that are reasonably well preserved. It really is amazing that these very old churches remain so well preserved so we can look back at bygone days.
