Matera, both Sassi and uptown was a great and pleasure surprise. We arrived afternoon and enjoyed the sunset and artificial lightning which was beautiful and magical.

In order to see the beauty of this place, you need to walk around the sassi and you should have adequate shoes to walk around. I suggest booking a tour in order to know more better the place.
