The bar Turia in the Mercado de Colon has some great tapas and food! We had mini Gin Tonics and patatas bravas, both very good. Service was a bit slow because it was Saturday evening, but other than that it was fine.

A beautiful old city market reinvented as an overpriced fast food joint. Cafes more related to a culture alien in Valentia, and mostly uninspiring in their offerings. My biggest problem is the fact that the whole eating area is a gigantic fresh air free zone,...More

Nice place with plenty of options for food & drinks. Quality refurb of an old building. Lots of places for outdoor drinks with heaters. Busy when the sun was out. Only had drinks so can’t comment on food outlets.

This former market in an impressive 1916 grand modernist building is now the home of a collection of ten restaurants, six café bars, one lounge bar and a gourmet market, if the exterior signs are to be believed, and believe them I do. It is...More

We stumbled upon the Mercado Colon accidentally on a walk back to the hotel from the Jardines del Turia. Big choice of cafe bars for beer, wine and cocktails. Great spot for a cold beer between seeing the sights. The downstairs area has what I...More

Former gas factory turned food market. Not a real market with vendors, but a lot of small restaurants and bars. Love the building. It really stands out on the square. Go and take a peek inside.

Looks fantastic from outside. You go in, and various cafes and clothes racks as well as a florist greet you

It gets a great write up and loads of recommendations but I have no idea why! It's a collection of uninspiring cafes unartfully set in an old market. Spectacularly dull and not worth the effort. Use your time to do something more interesting.

There are 20 or so restaurants with lots of variety. This is a nice place to have a drink and some tapas, because there is no direct sunlight. Also the building is quite nice.
