Valencia has an efficient metro system, but it circles the tourist areas requiring a bit of a walk to stations. The system is clean with short headways between trains.

Going from or to the airport, the metro de Valencia is the way to travel. In 20-25 minutes you go from the airport to metro station Colon (in the city centre) and it will cost you less than €5. Keep your card if you want...More

Metro is quick en very efficient for travelling into the centre of Valanencia. For € 11,- you have enough credit on the card for a two-trip for two persons from the airport to the centre and back.

So tickets are really easy to purchase. Only needed to use the metro a few times as the centre of Valencia is very compact. It is clean, efficient and felt safe.

We used the metro from the airport into the city where we then had a short walk to where we were staying. It was very easy to use, the stations and metro trains were clean. Very good prices and regular services. Recommend using for visitors...More

Would totally recommended using the metro to travel around Valencia! Combine with the tram, great value for money!

We managed the machines for tickets, one can get instructions in several languages, bought our tickets and found the right platform. Very clean and quick and on time. Tickets a bit expensive for short journeys.

The metro is well run, clean and cheap. You can use the metro to get most places for example from the airport into the centre. The bus service will then get you to where you want to go if you need it.

Hey does anyone have any advice on the best way to use this Metro? I am in Zone A at the moment and need to get out to the airport, pick up my girlfriend then both of us return to Zone A. Then over the weekend we'll probably do around 4 journeys each then both of us will go back to the airport and I will come back to Zone A - If that makes sense! I've read about the TuiN card but it's really badly explained on the various websites I've seen

I agree. It is not easy to understand. The problem is that the airport is in zone D. The metro is really easy to use and a good service as long as you are not out too late. It tends to stop running around 23.00 hrs, and we... More

Please help!! I have a metro card. Normal one with 10 trips. i mainly have a problem with the overground metro/tram whatever it is. When i get to my stop, i scan the card to the machine. Then i scan again on my destination, right? What if i need to get off on one stop and catch another different numbered metro there? I only scan on final destination? Last time i scanned on all stops and many viajes disappeared lol. Also my mobilis bus card allows transbordo in 1 hour. I cant do this with metro??? Never been told how it works here, please help :)
