I wasn't initially sure about visiting, but this is well worth a hot afternoon. A shady, cool, quiet and very beautiful place to wonder around or sit and read.

We visited Jardun Botanico in the middle of the midday heat - to hide from the burning sun. And it was perfect! Lots of shadow, beautiful plants. A feeling of the wild mysterious nature: hidden paths, quiet corners. Maybe a little bit too wild (for...More

Beautiful gardens in the middle of the city. A peaceful quiet place to roam and to get away from the crowds.

Quiet, shaded, nature sounds, funny cats, exotic trees and plants. An urban retreat for those that want to connect with the nature... Quite a lot of annoying moskidos, no baby play area, peebles no sand for baby fooling around, not much to do with kids...

A good place to spend a couple of hours of calm with lots of opportunity for shade. Well cared for & plants labelled. We did not see any cafe facilities here.

The Botanical Garden is very pleasant. Not very extensive, but it is laid out in a very nice manner. There is an interesting section of medicinal plants, with explanations of their use.

We were pleasantly surprised at how big it was judging by the small green patch on the map. Very well laid out with some interesting trees, including a pistachio nut!
