BIOPARC VALENCIA is a unique zoo. Its design employs the “zooimmersion” concept, in which visitors are surrounded by meticulous recreations of the natural habitats being presented. Social animals that live together in groups are displayed, as well as groups of different species that coexist in the same habitats. Predatory species are integrated into the visual space, but are separated from other species by barriers invisible to the eye of the visitor, ensuring the safety of both the animals and the people. The animals, vegetation and landscape provide opportunities for discovering the complexity of natural ecosystems.

We visited the biopark on our family holiday to Valencia. The park really surprised us - it's a wonderful zoo but much more. It feels very natural and open and nothing like any 'zoo' we have ever been to. We really enjoyed walking around and...More

Enjoyed a great visit. Wonderful to see animals in this setting. Due to high temperature, we arrived at 6pm when park was quieter. Amphitheatre show was impressive despite not understanding the Spanish commentary!! Not cheap but worth it.

This is a brilliant zoo with a great selection of animals which you can get up real close to. Great value for money. You can't take any food in as your bags are searched at the entrance but the cafe is reasonably priced. Would definitely...More

So nice to see animals being treated well. No animal should be caged, but if we had to do it than Bioparc is really the best way! I went to Oceanografic the day before and had a horrible time seeing animals suffering in small spaces....More

..it's not a zoo. No cages but animals free to live in their ambient! 'Lemuri' are so funny and beautiful! There are Giraffes, elephants, gorillas.. A family! The landscape is beautiful, the price is ok for this park. All is well organized. A beautiful walk...More

This is probably one of the best zoos I've been to. As the name says, it's more a park, most of the animals have quite large fields to roam around, but they are still mostly visible, thanks to the layout. Not a very big place,...More

The zoo is a brilliant experience, you get to see loads of animals close up and alongside each other. There's plenty of shade, we went just before 7pm when the temperature was perfect and we had time to go all around the zoo. There are...More

Loved it and I don't agree with zoos! All the animals here were really well cared for and comfortable in their environment. There was no feeling of them being penned in as the clever enclosures seemed fenceless. The elephants were particularly enjoying themselves under their...More

Spent a day of our holiday here, and had a great time! The zoo is built in a way so that you can get really close to the animals and can appreciate their habitats. The animals appeared to be very well cared for with clean...More

HI, regarding paying in the bus, I would not know. However, you can pay cash or credit card at the Bioparc. It might take you from 1 to hours to go go around.

Hello Gemma I've used the HOHO in Valencia. You can pay by cash or card when you enter. You can buy tickets for the Biopark on the bus as well, which needs to be validated at the Biopark entrance. Don't know if that is... More

Hello, if you mention your request at the entrance everything should be ok though you will spend 2 hours max in Bioparc. It is not small , however not the bigger.
