Right in the heart of the Basque country, a great place to wander, hike or bike, specially nice in autumn but any other season is great, too.

The scenery is beautiful and the hikes are exhilarating. A must do if you will be in the area and like hiking. Try out the sheep cheese on the mountaintop.

Allow some time even if only passing through the park. Especially beautiful when fog rolls in. Hiking was good. Not many people this time of year (October). There is no entry charge.

Beautiful natural park in north of Navarra, with beautiful views like the Balcon of Pilatos, the Tejo of Otxaportillo... And many other beautiful places!

I am afraid not, it is far away from any public transport. Either you hire a car or arrange a taxi. There are hotels and ecolodges, plus camping that we did not use, just drove to sleep on the other side of the mountains... More
