The gardens were beautiful even in November. However, my partner is always a bit fearful around parks in the dark, and I think she was right this time. The Royal Palace is lit with 1000 lumen spotlights, almost blinding you in the reflection, but the...More

The queue for the palace was horrendous so we wandered through the gardens adjoining the palace instead. Beautifully maintained garden with multiple fountains and benches to sit on. A nice green oasis.

We walked a lot the day we discovered this garden. A wonderful space and park to rest and admire the sound and colors of nature inside the city.

So beautiful and tranquil these gardens lie along the northern flank of the Palacio Real. Bring a snack and water and take a stroll. Lovers of french gardens will enjoy this.

Garden is beautiful, well maintained, with statues along the sides of pond. The hedges and trees layout is like a maze. It was very hot and sunny in the afternoon. Best to visit in early morning or just before sunset.

collection of plazas interconnected by a network of
side streets. Some of these side streets are wide
pedestrian shopping routes, and some are hidden, so
