It the metro stop in Plaza Sol. It gets you from point A to point B. You can travel to airport for 5.00 euro. It's clean.

It's just an underground station offering a reasonable service. We had no problems using the Madrid metro with the usual map layout to find your way around.

This is a very central Metro station, and during rush hours it can turn into a chaotic mess. Even at off-peak times, the place is more hectic than others in the city.
