Superb views of the city and its surroundings

Right next to the metro. Cheap and other nice buildings nearby. Definitly worth doing to get an overview of the city

My wife and I were doing a walking tour around Moncloa and through the beautiful park there. You cannot miss this 'landmark' building which contrasts starkly with the triumphal arch at Moncloa. Not sure it fits in well to the landscape?

Bad start when we got there to be told that the lift was broken and to come back in an hour. We hung around in the small garden outside the Museo de America and watched the arrival and departure of the repairman. Tickets are cheap, 10€ for a family of five, and the ride to the top was fast partly... More

We visited the Faro in December. Daughter lives there, I have been to Madrid perhaps 8 times or so, and this is the first time visiting the Faro. It is not too far from the Templo de Debod and the Plaza de España. It cost us only a couple euros each. No line on a Thursday afternoon in December. I... More

After having waited for over 45min in line we got into the elevator and up to the observation deck. It was dark by then and could barley see the city. I suppose its a nice view whenever there light and its a clear weather. Did not enjoy it much as I had high expectations Worth noting that employees at the... More

Faro de Moncloa A very good view, not breathtaking but then again. Not expensive to enter only 3 Euro. No coffeeshop ( only a coffee vender)or any toilets. Choose a bright day with clear skies for your visit, if not the landscape the city will vanish in "the winter-smog" Sendt fra min iPad

It is really nice to see Madrid from the "up". With 2 panoramic lifts you get up on 92 metres where U can see, half of Madrid. I like that, the price for the children is reduced, thumb up.

It's a nice point of Madrid other there and also watch the sun set , unfortunately that's about it , up-there you'll find No bar and No restaurant just an explained view. On the plus sides you have a nice point of view on the mountains. They could have pouched the experience much further. Still worth it to spend half... More

Really reasonable at just 3 euros. Fantastic views of the city. You can walk back to the centre but it's aaboht a 45 mind walk and better to take the Metro. I really enjoyed this and it gives you ideas where to visit. Can be a bit warm behind all the glass.

Nearest Metro is Moncloa (Lines 3 & 6). The metallic colour tower is beyond the Victory Arch but before the Museum of the Americas. There's a reassuring mandatory bag scan. The elevator is glass fronted and the 300ft ascent is about a minute. The indoor observation deck is very spacious with a lower level close to the full length windows.... More
