These gardens are big but you are only allowed to access them through one gate even though there are three gates, so you end up walking a long way just to find the entrance. Still, you do get a great view of the palace from...More

#1 garden in Madrid and one of the best views to the Royal Palace. The garden is a historical place with lakes, wide fauna and trees. It is a must in Your Madrid visit!

This garden on the west side of Royal Palace. This garden is huge and spacious. Yet it is very quiet and peaceful, only a few visitors around. Best place to take a photo is at the fountain with a central lovely statue surrounded by flowers,...More

The entrance to these gardens are very difficult to find, there is only one way in and the same way out. At the entrance is the best photo looking up to the Royal Palace. The rest was scruffy with a lot of weeds, they did...More

This place is very quiet, you could spend time walking or watching flowers and ducks. Belongs to Patrimonio Nacional and it is an historic garden. The name came from an event with moorishs, but it is not related with his design. Important to say, there...More

Yes, there a good view up towards the Royal Palace, yes it is peaceful and a place for a stroll, but the overall impression is one of neglect. It could be spectacular but it isn’t. Access is difficult and time consuming. If you want a...More

You enter these gardens via Paseo Virgen del Puerto. I was expecting to see Moorish style gardens but I could have been walking into an English garden. Even more confusing, I read that they were designed to resemble the gardens at the Palace of Versailles....More

The garden is close to the palacio real and sabattini gardens, but is not well known by tourists so it is very relaxing as you will be walking the lanes almost alone. Yo do not have to pay to enter, just enjoy the sights!

There is only one entrance to the garden - the north end of Paseo de la Virgen del Puerto road. So it's a long walk to get there if you are at the Royal Palace as you have to make one big round outside the...More

I think this park is a well-kept secret. There were so few people when we visited. The view of the palace was lovely. You could almost feel the presences of previous kings and queens who strolled through this park. If you want to get away...More
