We visited the Casa de Campo to go to the Zoo/aquarium. We got the metro out which was very easy to use. The Zoo is quite good.. very quiet when we were there which was great. I think it needs some investment though and a...More

Arrived to park by Teleferico cable car. There was an restaurant and nice views around the huge park. Trees were big and like in fairy tale. Car could be easier to get there!

This is a lovely park for running, hiking, grabbing a picnic, boating, and cycling. There's a little something for everyone in this city park. It's accessible from the metro and there are acres and acres of trails and paths. There are some cafes surrounding the...More

We came here on a day when it was 100 degrees arriving by Cable Car so we had a good view of the park which is basically savannah - lots of sandy soil and scrubby bush so not attractive at this time of year with...More

Casa de Campo is the ideal place for a sunny walk, even in winter it's quite beautiful to stroll around the frozen lake. You should come prepared and enjoy a picnic. For the runners, is also a very nice place to go for a run.

Can't fault the park for the weather, it was 100+ degrees when we went. However, it was essentially a massive acreage of trees that looked like they somehow were placed in the middle of a desert. We saw one rabbit in terms of wildlife; i'm...More

I didn't see a swimming area in the lake itself, but there is a fabulous open air swimming pool right next to the late at the back of the Lago Metro station. it costs €4.50 for the day and well worth checking out.
