A very beautiful church that is good to visit. As in all museums in Madrid, it has lots of paintings too!

You will be captivated the moment you enter this Basilica right at the heart of Madrid. The dome and the walls are covered with pairing which would hold your attention for the entire time. I sat there for about an hour just admiring the place...More

This is my second visit over the last 4 years and I never fail to be awed by the beauty of the frescoes. The crypt is also amazing and the tour, even in Spainsh, is well worth the small admittance fee as you get to...More

Visit to the church was simply an out-of-the-world experience. It has a stunning interiors - a large inner space full of brilliant frescoes, paintings on the ceiling and startlingly life-like figurines One is not allowed to take photographs inside. Keep 30-60 minutes for the visit....More

Beautiful church, the frescos on the dome are outstanding, definitely worth a visit. About 10min walk from Latina metro stop, €5/adult to go in, open 10.30 to 12.30 and again in the afternoon

This church is really impressive. We enjoyed the tour, although it was merely in Spanish. The guide took us along all the treasures of the church. It's worthwhile to visit this church.

There is the cathedral itself - regarded by many as quite plain, but has incredible ceiling and huge organ. There is (seperate entrance) the crypt which is very grand. Services held regularly.

This church may not be on your list of visits, but it's something you just have to see. It looks a bit dated on the outside but like a lot of churches it's the inside that really makes it. It is simply mesmerising with it's...More

We didn't go inside but the exterior architecture is very nice. Not nicer than other basilicas or churches in Europe. The Palacio Real de Madrid is very close as well as other popular sites.
