it's a beautiful park and it's surrounded with good buildings. It's good to visit, but take care with the hot, in May the hot was too hard

Quite a large complex but not much to see unless there is a special event, which I understand they have frequently. Unfortunately for us nothing much was going on the day we went. Good spot to ride bikes or skate!

Nice location for small events such as a film festival. The history of the place is original. Easily accessible.

A nice place for culture and arts exhibitions. I believe this used to be a slaughter house but they have put it to good use

Great place for Culture and the Arts. Great location and surrounding areas. In Matadero you can find exhibitions, workshops. Design, video, photography, you name it! There are also activities for the younger ones.

Lovely building and still an active bullring. If your interested in the history of bullfighting the museum which is free is worth a visit. You only pay if you want to enter the bullring and it's only 9 euro.

What a popular place! The old city's slaughterhouse reconstructed for a public use. Families, friends, nice art installations, good films, food markets, vintage/antique markets, concerts... Everything is interesting there. Check the calendar and make a gap in your agenda to go there. There's also a...More

We visited Matadero on a Saturday afternoon expecting an artistic buzz, but sadly we found an enormous -almost desert- open space with lots of beautifully renovated buildings (it used to be the Madrid's meat market). They have many attractions and activities for parents with small...More
