This museum is definitely worth a visit and has lots of interesting things to see, but I would set expectations on what you're going to get, otherwise the experience leaves you feeling just a little bit wanting. Is it a true house museum? Not entirely....More

Spent a couple of hours in this museum and really enjoyed it. Well laid out with English guide book. Best thing was it was free but its not expensive anyway. Recommended.

Chueca is the hip, gay neighbourhood of Madrid where
many of the streets are narrow and intimate, but where
the hustle and bustle and the eclectic storefronts and
people give it a distinctly urban feel. The main
thoroughfare is Calle Hortaleza and the main square is
Plaza Chueca, completely filled with terraza tables
serving copas (mixed drinks) during summer. A mixture
of trendy and grungy, some of the adult businesses
