This little museum provides an insight into an interesting point in history. Read about the period before you go, to get a full insight. Well curated with charming and helpful staff. There is a lovely cafe too.

This is a wonderful museum. It presents a bourgeois home in Madrid in the 19th Century, with furniture, paintings, chandeliers, toys, fans, dishes, and lots of other artifacts of the era. Beautiful house. And don't miss the beautiful Café in the garden!

The original owners, really have a nice taste in all elements on this house. The colors in the walls, furnitures, etc..

This museum is definitely worth a visit and has lots of interesting things to see, but I would set expectations on what you're going to get, otherwise the experience leaves you feeling just a little bit wanting. Is it a true house museum? Not entirely....More

Lovely and beautiful museum in Madrid. You can take pictures there and you can find nice cafe. Really worth to see!

If you're looking for a museum that allows pictures, this is your place! Entry was maybe 3 euros and that included a guided tour book.

if you are in madrid please don't forget to visit this museum; also keep in mind that it has free entrance on saturday (after 14.00) and sunday (I think so)

We wandered over here on a late Sunday morning during free entrance. It felt like there were only a handful of other visitors there so it was peaceful. With kids, it was a nice way to spend an hour away from the tourist crowds. Oh,...More

Spent a couple of hours in this museum and really enjoyed it. Well laid out with English guide book. Best thing was it was free but its not expensive anyway. Recommended.
