Normally stay in the Temple de Debod neighborhood because the park has traditionally been a favorite. However, this time in Madrid placed me at the fairly recently addition of a Double Tree by Hilton. Retiro is a beautiful park with so many different sights to...More

It’s a beautiful park near the Prado Museum where you can take a stroll, have a picnic or enjoy rowing in the man-made lake. It only costs €5.50 to rent a boat for 45 minutes and it’s a lot of fun. The Crystal Palace is...More

I loved this park. It is just in the middle of the city, close to Puerta de alcala. It is great to go and have some relax time, get into the boats, walk a little. Do not miss the Palacio de Cristal.

We heard this park was 5x the size of Central Park so we were curious. We went and there are a lot of people exercising outside and only a few places to have coffee. If you have nothing left to do and see in Madrid...More

The Retiro Park is one of my favorite places in Madrid. For a walk, to see the Crystal Palace or admire some of the many scultpures and artefacts. Wonderful and peaceful, even in peak seasons. Lots of things to explore, cafes, restaurants inside and outside...More

I had a short walk after business meetings through the park. It was cold, but sunny, and very relaxing. Ponds with environments of different style, everything very nice. Not very crowded. Very good for jogging in the morning.
