I absolutely love the place! You can do everything - go jogging, take a walk, or a nap? Hire a boat at the lake; listen to a variety of steeet musicians. It’s absolutely amazing!

5 minutes walk away from the hustle and bustle and you find this beautiful park. Peacocks walking around the gardens, turtles swimming in the pond. Absolutely amazing don’t miss going for a stroll around here.

The large lake with the huge monument is fantastic, you can rent a row boat. The tree filled walkways make for a cool walk. There are many lovely areas, including a glass house of this really large park.

Massive park with lots of statues and fountains. Gorgeous to take a walk around and chill in. Nice to lay under a tree and relax in the gorgeous Madrid weather. Quite busy Worth a visit in Madrid.

This park worth a day to spend strolling around visiting the Crystal Palace, boating lake, rose garden and if you are lucky perhaps a concert. We barely scratched the surface but spent a lot of time enjoying the peace and quiet.

We had heard it was large and it certainly is but, with so many sections it’s really interesting, fun and beautiful. We visited on a hot July day and it was very comfortable and incredibly relaxing. A rowing boat for 4 was just 6 euros...More

From Metro Sol take the red line and go to Retiro station. The exit is just there at the door of the park. If you want to buy cheaper food before entering the park just cross the street and walk some steps in Lagasca street... More
