The ponds are a great feature with boat rentals. Often children have remote controlled boats in the ponds as well. We especially loved the long tree lined paths and the outdoor gym which is popular in Mexico. The one pond was dry this time.

Beautiful and interesting park conveniently located with peaceful areas and good spaces for interacting. Disappointingly for us both the cristal palace and the Velazquez palace were closed for new exhibitions about to open in a few days. It would have seemed better to organise things...More

We planned to sit in the park to enjoy a quiet few hours and instead we walked every acre. It's spectacular. Mere feet away from some of Madrid's loudest traffic and before you know it, you're in a magnificent park. Highly underrated and highly recommended...More

What a gorgeous place! The flowers! The grounds! The fountains! Great atmosphere, nice change of pace from the traditional touristy stops. You can relax here and just walk around and smell the roses (literally!). We were hoping they had food options once we got inside...More

I used to take my love conquers there. It's simply a magical spot in the middle of Madrid's crazyness. Try to visit it even if you don't feel like it. It may not move you once you are there... but you will always remember that...More

You absolutely cannot swim in the lake. We were there last week and it was 103F every day. We just fell in line with the rest of the Spaniards and around 3 or 4 o'clock went back to the hotel for a nap and some A/C. It... More
