Clean and pleasant place to visit. Lots of cafes and attractions to see with works of art in the old palace if that’s your thing

Fabulous park to explore or chill. Very clean and some beautifully landscaped areas to walk or cycle through. The lake is particularly beautiful.

What a stunning park with lots to see & do. Loved the boating lake with very green water in it. Nice statues lining a walkway & beautiful fountains. Don’t miss a walk round this park.

Lovely walk, nice little icecream and drinks vendors around the park. Amazing exhibitions. Well worth a visit to the plaza de crystal. Beautiful park! Sitting round the lake watching the sun go down, priceless.

Visited Retiro Park on a Sunday..... it was bustling with puppeteers, street performers, tarot card readers, costumed characters and much more. It's lovely to watch families casually strolling along, enjoying the greenery, robust monuments, and a busy lake where people were paddling around. A great...More

I also didn't see a train on a walk through the park, but again might be in a bit of the park I didn't see.
