I have been to Mercado San Miguel many times and always make a point of going whenever in Madrid...the place is always buzzing and is great for a wander and trying a few delicious foods you wouldn’t normally get elsewhere(Galician octopus springs to mind). Also...More

There must be 25-50 venders in this Market seller meats, fish, pastries, wine, vermouth and beer. Every single location is highly tempting. This is the place to go to a wide variety of Spanish foods.

Stumbled across this on the way to the Royal Palace but it was the most authentic Spanish experience of all! A market, rather like Spittalfield in London, that is a series of stalls selling delicacies and beverages of all kinds. From olives to cheese to...More

It is a very nice food market to eat and drink special finger foods, meals, drinks,... just too crowded and too little space to enjoy. A bit overpriced for too little space to really enjoy. Nonetheless we liked it overall.

If you love Spanish Tapas then make your way here. This is an upscale food market for folks who appreciate fine ingredients beautifully presented. Good value for food and wine.

Great Food presentation. great Atmosphere, many choices of Tapas and different types of food Prices are reasonable. There is a room to sit or just stand and enjoy the food. It's the oldest Market in the world so well deserved the visit.

Expansive plazas, local and foreign crowds, street
