I really enjoy markets and this was fun to walk around with crowds of others. There are ok and if tapas options to buy as well as drinks of various sorts including delicious fresh fruit drinks. I would imagine that locals as well as tourists...More

I really like places like this. A lot of people there, but good vibes and plenty of delicious things to eat and drink.

Overpriced, upscale market and that is it. Tourist trap more like it. I would rather find individual eateries than dining here. It’s not busy like La Rambla Barcelona - it’s a far cry. Nevertheless, you can find everything under one roof, like a large food...More

While you can purchase fresh fish and produce here, the emphasis is on great quality tapas, wine, and beer. You may stroke from vendor to vendor and sample many different foods. I suggest starting at the wine bar and getting a glass and just walking...More

Expansive plazas, local and foreign crowds, street

restaurant signs promising the best paella, ham, and
churros con chocolate- this is downtown Madrid, a
collection of plazas interconnected by a network of
side streets. Some of these side streets are wide
pedestrian shopping routes, and some are hidden, so
it's possible to duck in and out of the bustle as
