Famous pinchos street in Logroño

This is the place to visit for pinchos ie small dishes usually served on bread, and typical of Northern Spain (a little different to traditional tapas) in Logroño. The aim is to visit numerous places with different pinchos and wash down with local wine. The warm evenings have a friendly atmosphere and this is a lovely way to try different dishes over several hours.

We had pork Muranos pinchos (charcoal grilled skewers) at Bar Páganos (amazing), seafood at La Hez, and waygu beef slider and artichoke hearts covered in sliced fois at Taberna de Correos. A fantastic and reasonably priced way to spend an evening.

Calle de Laurel is full of bar with traditional food/tapas and amazing wine. Each bar have particular dishes and speciality, very overage price . Many Rioja wine which match perfectly with food. Everyone are friendly and charming, they give a good welcoming and good vibes. Logroño is a very nice city and Calle de Laure is where movida is . I recommend to try many bar as possible for the best degustation of the good&wine.

Small but rxpensuve

A bit of a tourist trap to be honest. Wine is cheap - around €1-2 a glass but the tapas and racciones are expensive. Definitely for the tourists. Good fun but had much better elsewhere in Spain. La Rua, Belgian craft beer bar is the best by far. Superb service and great beer and wine

Hard to go wrong on the tapas trail

Lots of bars each with their own tapas speciality and very drinkable house wine.

The fun is in stopping at one, having its speciality and a glass of vino and moving on.

It’s busy, vibrant and most bars are excellent. We did have one disappointment which was the patatas bravas bar (see individual bar reviews) but mostly it was excellent.

This street of Logroño is known as" the way of the elephants "("la senda de los elefantes"), from which you exit with your trunk and on all fours. It is absolutely impossible to leave here sober. I began the acquaintance with the main attractions of Logroño with bar Blanco y Negro. This is the oldest bar on the street. The founder of the genre ... There were 65 bars and restaurants on this 200-meter street. A tourist cannot pass in one evening, or in a week. Because everywhere Rioja, Rioja and Rioja again. Divine Rioja for the sake of which everybody go in Logroño. This was probably the highest concentration of drinking establishments in Spain. Was... How many will remain now no one knows...

So many choices of tapas and pinchos! Se just had a few things from a couple of places, there is a guide with the best tapa in each bar. Waiters also recommended nice wine!

The ocean of food!

This is THE capital of tapas - I have never seen such an endless variety of them and the problem is that you want to try all of them because they are so colorful and appealing. During the Fiesta de San Matteo the street was incredibly busy, but this is exactly what you need to celebrate the harvest.
