What a beautiful spot in Gibraltar, surrounded by very old walls and full of greenery and fascinating graves. Small but intriguing and taken care of nicely.

we went to the Cemetery as we had both served in the Royal Navy and had visited Gibraltar during service, so found it interesting to view some of the graves of Sailor's and service men past.

Amble among the old graves and see the names of those who lost their lives in the Battle of Trafalgar. Nelson's statue is across the road and has a audio account

The age of this cemetery is reason enough to stroll around for a half hour, reading the different monuments and tombstones. The best reason is the peace and tranquility you feel here, even though it is in the midst of the hubbub.
