Such a moving place to visit - graves of those who died at Trafalgar. It's a vivid insight into how hard the life of a sailor was in the early 1800s. There is indeed some corner of a foreign field that is forever England -...More

Visited this and found it quite sad. If you are British it brings home to you how hard being a sailor at that time was. There are some very young boys buried here who all succumbed to injuries or fever linked to Trafalgar. Although the...More

Quite an odd cemetery this, as its against the town walls on one side and on steep hillside so it's at a number of levels. Not very disabled friendly, sorry. Lots of interesting gravestones, but could use some more info boards by the entrance

Cemeteries are not places of joy, but a reminder of brave people who died for a cause. Men who fought alongside Admiral Nelson and others of that era are here at the top of the main street in a quiet and well-kept graveyard. Worth a...More

The cemetery sits at the end of the main street prior to reaching the cable car. There is a statue of Nelson opposite which is allegedly made from the gun metal from HMS Victory. The cemetery is well kept and the two graves of sailors...More

This cemetary is so beautiful, and even though it is situated in a busy area of Gibraltar it is a little piece of heaven inside. Set in beautifully kept gardens and there is the history of the place as you enter. If you are passing...More

This is a nice stop on a walk around Gibraltar town. It contains the remains of a few of the sailors who died during the Battle of Trafalgar. It is a peaceful oasis in a town that is anything but peaceful

We walked up to the cemetery having read about it and it was charming. The info board told us where the two trafalgar graves were and gave other interesting info and it was well kept, a cool haven on a hot day

Small and quiet place inside dense populated area. Walking and reading gravestones you can find about history of this part of the world. Can recommend to everybody to spend few minutes and contemplate past of Gibraltar.

Every gravestone tells a story. Quite moving to see the resting places of people who fought with Nelson and those who succumbed to diseases that we have long forgotten. We take modern medicine a little for granted.
