We used Camino Ways for our trip to Santiago de Compostela. The country houses we stayed at were super. Most of the food we had was grown on site. The owners helped us in every way possible. They were so very knowledgable of the area. It was a real treat conversing with them. Our luggage was always there when we... More

Just arrived back in Canada after doing the French Way and have nothing but praise for Camino Ways. We were most impressed to receive a phone call from Camino Ways the week before we left; they were checking to see if we had any question and to make sure we knew the weather would be rainy and that we had... My wife and I spent 5 days covering 110 km from Sarria to Santiago. Our overnight accommodations were prearranged by caminoways and were friendly, clean and beautiful. When needed, we were picked up and dropped off at the Camino by our hosts. The breakfasts and dinners were top notch. The local food and wine filled out the experience. Since we... More

Very reliable, all happened as planned. No bad surprises. I always felt the staff would be easy to reach, whatever happened. But all went well. I will be using their services again.

We are walkers and in our late 60s; trekking the French Camio from Sarria to Santiago was one of our most enjoyable and unique experiences. We thought the crux of the adventure was found in the quality of the people we met as well as the chance to meditate on what was actually before us as we walked the by-ways... More

Overall, it was an excellent trip. No issues with logistics i.e. transfers, hotels, luggage, etc. The selection of higher end cottages/hotels was worthwhile. Many of the proprietors/owners were incredibly accommodating hosts - one was a superb chef in his own right. This was Xavier at Oca Villa de Sarria in Sarria. The trip guide provided by Camino Ways was adequate... More

We used Camino Ways to arrange our trip walking the last 112 km on the French Way of the Camino. We had excellent service in every way: the advice about which trip, the communication, reliability, arranging for accommodations and meals, transport of luggage and their overall reliability and availability. The trip was wonderful and everything went smoothly with the assistance... More

We were very happy overall with the entire trip. The luggage transfers from hotel to hotel were done efficiently and worked out perfectly. The hotel people were very friendly and helpful. There were a couple of things we were not very happy with. One was the hotel in Arzua, where we had to go through town and out on a... More

I was a bit worried since it was my first camino and I ended up going solo, but I shouldn't have. CaminoWays took care of everything so I could focus on my pilgrimage. The maps & directions were easy to follow, the casa accommodations were excellent and the food was delicious. Couldn't have asked for a better first-time experience.

We decided to invite our two adult kids to come along with us to walk the last 100 km of the Camino. We chatted with a number of the companies servicing the route and ended up selecting CaminoWays. They were excellent at working with us to make it all come together. We decided to go a bit upscale and stay... More
